After hearing a lot from everyone around, I made it to Savya Rasa for lunch. The place definitely offers authentic South Indian taste of food. Wide variety of starters and main course must say! The ambiance just adds on to the south Indian feel with the music played at the background and the seating. It offers a royal hospitality to all its guests. Starting from offering wet towels for wiping hands to offering three type of drinking water. Menu card was in a beautiful wooden format giving it a classy look and feel. The staff too was extremely generous and service was prompt.
The complimentary Rasam was the best. We had ordered- Pallipalayam Kozhi Chicken & Mini Meen Pollichathu in starters and it was amazingly tasty. The fish starter especially , is served hot wrapped in banana leaf. The main course too was equally tasty. We had ordered Mena manga curry with steamed rice (gravy fish)and gravy chicken. The fish gravy had raw mango and coconut giving it a very tangy taste. Overall, we had a delighted food experience at Savya Rasa.
After tasting authentic South Indian Food during my travel to Kerela, i never had expected to taste such food again in Pune atleast. But to my surprise, Savya Rasa was just an another Kerela to me for a while. The same taste of spices and food preparation just took me back to my Kerela travel memories.
I am definitely going to visit the place again 🙂
