- Wheat flour ½ kg
- Jaggery 1/2kg
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp sauf
- 4 tbsp grated coconut
- Ghee to fry
Melt jaggery separately and let it cool. Add that to flour and knead the dough. Then add sauf, coconut and ghee. With help of jaggery mixture knead hard and little dry dough.
Dough is ready and now we will use this recipe for making Thekua.
Preheat ghee in a wok. Take little amount of dough and with help of your and make small circular shapes (any other shape would also do) and fry it in ghee. Fry all thekua on medium or low flame.
Your sweet holi delicacy is ready!
